Don't forget battery power. Since the battery must provide enough power to handle the video card and the system RAM, you need a good batter. In fact, if you can find notebooks for gaming that will handle a second battery, do so. When you consider it simply takes more power to run a game than to run financial spread sheet programs, you cannot overlook power.
